Self-wood bows are not only used for hunting, they can be fun for people of all ages!

Have you ever seen a child's face when the first arrow that they ever shoot flies off the string?  LIttle will compare to the amazement and wonder of that experience.  God's provision for this method of propulsion brings a very simple and exciting pleasure to the child who has just released the string.  No technology, no electricity needed, no video experience, just exuberance.  Pleasure is not as hard as we sometimes make it and archery is not as hard as we sometimes make it.  Just a simple bow and arrow and a little room to roam will provide hours of healthy, wholesome adventure for a child.

Positively, they will need some supervision.  Positively, they will need some instruction, but you need not worry about the explicit pop ups, or gory horror of a video game.  The gentle swish of the arrow is the only sound that interrupts the quiet.  The excited shouts as the arrow flies make the effort all worth while.
